Abstract
Specifically, this study is designed to make an experimental comparison of traditional planetarium programming and participatory planetarium programming by answering the
following questions:
(1) Does a significant difference exist between the achievement of students who experience a traditional planetarium program and the achievement of students who experience a participatory planetarium program?
(2) Does any difference that may exist between the achievement of students who experience a traditional planetarium program and the achieve- ment of students who experience a participatory planetarium program depend on the time when the students are measured for achievement?
(3) Does a significant difference exist between the difference in achievement of students taught by the first presentation of a traditional or participatory planetarium program and the difference in achievement of students taught by the second presentation of a traditional or participatory planetarium program.
