Abstract
The purpose of this project was to provide activities, not ordinarily found in regular texts, in astronomy and space science for fifth and sixth grade gifted and talented students. Information was gathered from relevant literature including Eric documents, periodicals, textbooks, and other published literature. A handbook of enrichment activities in astronomy and space science for fifth and sixth grade gifted and talented students would be beneficial as a lack of activities exists currently with many publishers not adequately addressing the need for qualitatively differentiated curriculum.
