Abstract
Astronomers in small groups are in a special position.
Their research has to be on a similar level as in large astronomy communities, but on the other hand they should devote larger fraction of their time to public outreach and education duties. Establishing the priorities is therefore inevitable. Our solutions to some very real dilemmas about how to do research, conduct study of astronomy and educate the general public by such a small group are briefly
discussed.
