Abstract
The purpose of the study was to:
1. Identify a sample of individuals at educational institutions (Public and Private, K-University) in the Middle Atlantic Region (Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware) who have utilized or repurposed videodiscs and/or interactive videodisc programs in support of a science curriculum.
2. Determine the nature and extent of use of videodiscs and/or interactive videodisc programs in the science curriculum of those identified in the study.
3. For each individual in the above defined population, determine the selection criteria for videodiscs and/or interactive videodisc programs; the extent of local repurposing; the level of utilization of other media in support of a science curriculum; and the evaluation process of utilized videodiscs and/or interactive videodisc programs.
