Planetarium Training course instigated by the Planetarium Institute which acts as a loose association of Bay Area colleges and planetariums with a common undergraduate curriculum in planetarium training. Students enrolled at any of the colleges of the consortium may take a three-semester course in planetarium operation in addition to courses in astronomy, physics, mathematics, science education, and history of science. Upon successful completion of the tri-mester program, the student is able to participate in the lecturing program at any of the I nstitute planetariums.
