Summary of Informal Education Discussions

Abstract

This is a summary of the discussions that were held on 2002 June 13, follow- ing presentations and discussion on informal education topics by panelists, and includes references to some of the papers submitted by the panelists and printed in this section of the proceedings. It represents a distillation of the common themes and issues that surfaced at many of the small group discussion tables. The information was obtained from the facilitators at each table and the flip chart notes that each table generated.
