Teaching and Learning Astronomy

Abstract

I review the teaching and learning of astronomy, in elementary and secondary school, colleges and universities,
and for the public through astronomy outreach and communication. I describe International Year of Astronomy 2009, and some of the national and personal projects in which I am involved.
