The 1999 SARA Research Experiences for Undergraduates Program
Abstract
Since the summer of 1995 the Southeastern Association for Research in Astronomy has operated a Research Experiences for Undergraduates program. Sponsored by a grant from the National Science Foundation, this program allows talented students from undergraduate institutions around the country to engage in research projects under the tutelage of SARA faculty members. During the summer of 1999 ten students from around the country participated in the SARA REU program.
