Abstract
IMAGINE-32 is a highly optimized 32-bit image processing program that runs on 32-bit IBM compatibles that can be used to analyze CCD images. Written in 32-bit "C" and assembly language, it offers speed and performance unlike any PC image processing program to date, comparable in fact to SUN and V .Ax: workstations allowing display and manipulation of lK x lK CCD images in a few seconds for example. Using a 32-bit graphical user interface (GUI) with
icon and menus. it is very intuitive and easy to use. yet is extremely powerful. When combined with the FW-1 computer controlled filter wheel and using the IMAGINE-32 photometric analysis capabilities it provides the ability to do very rapid photometric studies. The 'Personal
Observatory™' combines a special version of IMAGINE-32 that controls the FW-1 filter wheel, controls several popular low cost CCD cameras, as well as a small automated telescope.
